Software developer, open-source advocate, and community builder. Writing at the intersection of AI, engineering, and people.
I'm a software developer and open-source advocate who believes people are always the best part of any system. My name appears in Goethe's Faust — which is either a great icebreaker or a warning, depending on who you ask.
Currently at Pydantic, working on developer relations and growth marketing. Previously at Workday, Quansight, and QuantumBlack/McKinsey, where I spent my time translating complex technical ideas into things humans actually want to read and use.
I care a lot about making tech more accessible — especially for people who don't see themselves reflected in it yet. I co-organise Humble Data Workshops, which introduce data science to underrepresented communities, and I'm involved with EuroPython (you can reach me at [email protected]).
On this blog I write about open source, AI engineering, and the communities that make it all worth doing.
